A Houston spa theme with a from-scratch drag-and-drop form builder, submissions dashboard and per-button Vagaro booking integration.
Project Overview
Luxe Wellness Spa is a custom WordPress theme for a Houston, TX wellness spa. Its centrepiece is a drag-and-drop form builder written from scratch for the theme: forms and submissions live in their own post types, entries arrive with unread badges, a dashboard widget and CSV export, and every form can be dropped anywhere with a shortcode.
Content editing runs through a declarative, tabbed section meta-box framework — repeaters, WYSIWYG fields and media pickers per page template — so the client edits every section of every page without touching code. Booking flows through Vagaro with a global booking URL plus per-button overrides for campaign-specific CTAs.
The Challenge
The spa needed marketing-page flexibility plus lead capture the staff could actually manage — custom forms per campaign, submissions in one place, and Vagaro booking links that differ per button — without stacking form and builder plugins.
The Solution
A bespoke in-theme form builder (drag-and-drop fields, AJAX/REST submissions, email notifications, CSV export, dashboard widget) paired with a tabbed section meta-box framework and theme-level Vagaro URL management with per-CTA overrides.
