Project Overview
A CMB2-driven services theme for a Singapore home-appliance and plumbing repair company. Services are managed through a dedicated custom post type with per-service meta sections, while the front page, about and contact pages are fully section-editable from the admin.
The booking/contact flow is production-grade: AJAX submission protected by nonce, honeypot, time-trap and optional reCAPTCHA v3; branded HTML email notifications to both office and customer; and an internal Enquiries dashboard with unread badges, service/status filters, detail views and CSV export. Built-in SEO output (titles, descriptions, Open Graph, JSON-LD) steps aside automatically when Yoast or RankMath is active, and a one-click demo importer recreates the whole site structure.
The Challenge
A repair business runs on enquiries: they needed spam-free booking capture, a way for non-technical staff to track and action each lead, and service pages the owner could extend — without buying a stack of plugins.
The Solution
A service CPT plus an in-theme enquiries CRM (badges, filters, CSV export), a multi-layer spam pipeline (nonce, honeypot, time-trap, optional reCAPTCHA v3), branded dual HTML email notifications and built-in SEO with plugin auto-deference.
