Project Overview

Nova Finance needed a cutting-edge dashboard that could display real-time cryptocurrency data while maintaining an exceptionally clean, intuitive user interface. The platform had to handle thousands of concurrent WebSocket connections, present complex data through beautiful visualizations, and deliver a premium feel that matched their brand positioning.

Working closely with their product team, I architected a modular front-end system using Next.js and integrated Three.js for immersive 3D chart visualizations. The result was a platform that reduced user onboarding time by 60% and increased daily active engagement by over 200%.

The Challenge

The existing dashboard was built on legacy technology, causing 4+ second load times and frequent data lag. Users were abandoning the platform due to poor real-time performance and an unintuitive interface.

The Solution

I rebuilt the entire front-end using a micro-service architecture with server-side rendering for instant loads, integrated WebSocket streaming for sub-100ms data updates, and designed a dark-mode-first UI with 3D chart visualizations.
